Zoo Lion Music is one of Canada's up and coming rock bands. Originating in Calgary Alberta, they have toured across Western Canada and most recently opened for Bon Jovi during the Calgary Stampede.

We first started working with the band 2 years ago shortly after they had completed their first album. They needed a website to keep the momentum going so together we mapped out a plan to create an online presence for the band.

Our objectives included:
• Online Sales for singles and the entire album, t-shirts and other band gear
• Provide a place for bars and venue managers to learn about the band and check their availability for bookings
• Provide a place for their fans to view news and blogs postings
• Provide a place for fans to learn about upcoming concerts and events
• Showcase band pictures of events and recording sessions

We had the initial website for almost two years but when Brian informed us that they were launching their second album and opening for Bon Jovi during the Calgary Stampede, we felt a new design and added functionality would help to build on the bands already growing popularity.

Mi Casa sells Faux Stone to commercial and residential clients all across North America.

Our task was to create a system for online estimating and sales of a very complicated product to sell remotely.

There were several obstacles to overcome including:

1. Providing a tool for customers to estimate how much product and accessories they will need to order.
2. Organized the products and accessories so clients could easily order everything they needed quickly and easily.
3. Allow clients to visualize how the product will look on their home or building.
4. Communicate how easy it is for the average person to work with the product.
5. Provide a system for Len to manage all his clients and orders from any location with an internet connection.

Working alongside Len, we were able to develop an initial solution that we were confident would work, but after a few weeks of less than satisfactory results, we all took an objective look at the project and made some crucial adjustments to the design.

We also added a financing option which has made the site more appealing and affordable to clients resulting in a significant increase in sales.

I first met one of the partners of First Impression Media when he became a customer of a pet store I owned. I had the good fortune of working with Jess during this time. It was shortly after meeting and working with Jess that I started another company and needed a website constructed.
